What Kind of Banjos Do We Sell?
We carry new and used 5-string banjos across a wide range of price points. On the new side, we’re authorized dealers for Deering, Gold Tone, and other respected manufacturers like Davis, Huber, OME, and others. On the used side, we buy, restore, and resell instruments from Gibson, Stelling, Recording King, ODE, and many others, including vintage banjos that are genuinely hard to find anywhere else.
Our inventory changes constantly. A prewar Gibson, a like-new Deering Sierra, a well-priced Gold Tone OB-3, these come through regularly, and they sell fast. The best way to know when something new arrives is to be on our email list.
How Are Our Banjos Priced?
We price based on what an instrument is actually worth (its condition, playability, and market value), not on what we paid for it. When we take in a used banjo, our banjo tech Tara goes through it completely: full disassembly, deep cleaning, hardware polish, fresh head, new strings, and a proper setup. By the time a banjo hits our floor or our website, it plays the way it’s supposed to play. That work is reflected in the price, and so is our honest assessment of what the instrument is worth.
We don’t inflate prices to leave room for a fake sale. If something is marked down, it means we’ve decided to move it, and it’s still set up properly and honestly represented.
