OME Banjos
OME is one of the oldest names in American banjo making. Chuck Ogsbury built his first banjos in Boulder, Colorado in 1960, started OME in 1970, and the company has been making banjos ever since. In 2023 Wayne Rogers of Gold Tone Music Group acquired OME, and every OME is now built in Titusville, Florida.
Banjo Warehouse carries OME’s openback, clawhammer, Irish tenor and bluegrass resonator models. Most are built to order: OME builds your banjo after you order it, it comes to our Yellow Springs, Ohio shop, and our banjo tech Tara sets it up before it ships to you.
