Description

The ever so popular OB-150 now is now available with a wider nut/neck!  Many players prefer this regardless, but this is especially helpful for those pickers who might have large fingers.  The little bit of extra space between the strings aids in cleaner playing.

Gold Tone has been changing the way music has been made since the 1990’s.  Gold Tone makes a full line of acoustic musical instruments, making some of the most treasured instruments played around the world.

This Bluegrass banjo sports a three-ply maple rim and one-piece flange (just like the megabucks originals), a maple neck inlayed in authentic style, a brass flathead tone ring and a smooth satin finish. The OB-150 is professionally set up in their Florida shop and comes with TRANSFERRABLE lifetime warranty.

This has a maple neck and resonator with a rosewood fretboard that has a leaves and bows inlay.  The hardware is nickel and this has a one piece flange and a full size tone ring.  The banjo is made with specs in line with a top tier, professional grade, classic Pre War Banjo.

Set Up

This has had a final set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  The head is a brand new Remo frosted head and is set to 90.  The bridge is set with correct intonation.  This has new strings and the string height (action) is set up for fast playing and max volume and tone.  This banjo really hits, this may be the best value available on a Pre War Style Banjo.
