This is a Maple neck made by Stuart Banjos for a 5 string Banjo. This is ready to pop onto a banjo pot and be played!

Description

This was made by a builder in Stuart West Virginia that called his banjos Stuart Banjos. This actually is a new neck but it’s been around the shop for a couple years and has a couple of minor nicks and marks in the wood. The neck is definitely in great shape and has zero functional issues.

The neck itself is birdseye maple and the fretboard is rosewood. There is some nice inlay work on the fretboard that looks like bells and tulips. The headstock also has some inlay work including the Stuart logo. This has a nut, clean frets and all 5 tuners. The tuners are the same except one of the buttons broke so one of the buttons is a different shade from the others.

The neck is already finished and Stuart added some extra finish on the back of the headstock and neck heel which he believed would help to protect the finish. You can see closeups of a couple of lines in the finish which is not cracking, that is a line that marks thicker finish. This has one lag screw but everything else is on the neck ready for installation to your banjo pot.
