Those extra frets give you a full two octaves on the first string, reaching a high D where a standard 22-fret banjo stops at C, and because the longer neck keeps the same scale length and string tension, it feels familiar in the hand while sitting the bridge closer to the center of the head for a warmer voice with excellent clarity up the neck. Instead of the dead-flat board almost every bluegrass banjo uses, the surface curves gently across its width, the way a guitar or mandolin board does — so chord shapes fall under a naturally curved hand and barres take less effort. Everything else is standard Orange Blossom: 22 frets, a three-ply maple rim, one-piece cast flange, and a 20-hole bell brass flathead tone ring. Every used instrument is described honestly, including any wear, repairs, or non-original parts.

We ship free within the United States. Banjos we ship from our shop are double-boxed and arrive in tune and ready to play; customers regularly tell us their banjo was still in tune when they opened the case. If for any reason you're not satisfied, we offer a 7-day return window on all purchases.
