The Loar LM-110-BRB Honey Creek is designed for the player who wants authentic 1920s mandolin tone without the ornamentation. Its A-model body shape is a longstanding favorite for balanced sound, and a hand-carved solid spruce top delivers the legendary mandolin “chop” that only comes from a genuine carved top, paired with maple back and sides for a resonant, woody vibration.
The maple neck carries a thin “V” profile with a bone nut and padauk fretboard, while nickel tuners with pearl buttons and a compensated adjustable ebony bridge keep it playing true. Ivoroid binding and a two-way adjustable truss rod round out the build, finished in a satin brownburst that shows off its vintage vibe.
