Dotson Old Wood Air-Dried Banjo Bridge
$30.00
Air-dried old growth maple bridge, made by hand by Richie Dotson.
A banjo bridge cut by Richie Dotson from air-dried old growth wood. Air drying takes years rather than days, and players who care about bridges will tell you it is the reason one sounds livelier than another cut from the same species.
A bridge is the cheapest change you can make to how a banjo sounds. Height affects action and tone together, so match the height to what is on the banjo now unless you are deliberately changing the setup.
- Air-dried old growth wood
- Heights: 1/2 inch and .600 inch
- Made by hand by Richie Dotson
