The short-neck version of Superior’s Trailpak II gig bag, cut for tenor and other short-neck openback banjos rather than a full scale five string.
Same construction as the C-267 and C-269: luggage grade 600 denier ballistic nylon outside with 12mm of padding, and a soft red flannel lining inside that will not scratch a finish. Padded nylon handles plus adjustable padded backpack straps, so it can be carried or worn.
Length is the whole point of this one. A bag cut for a full scale banjo leaves a short-neck instrument sliding around inside, and a short bag will not close over a long neck. Match the bag to the neck rather than to the price.
Superior calls it the Travel/Tenor, and the fit it publishes is for tenor four-string short-neck openbacks. If you have a short scale five string, measure before you order.
- Fits: most tenor (4-string) short-neck openback banjos
- 600 denier ballistic nylon, 12mm padding
- No-scratch red flannel lining
- Padded handles and adjustable backpack straps
For a full size openback banjo, see the C-267. For a resonator banjo, see the C-269.
