Gold Tone OB-Standard+ with JLS Tone Ring
A Banjo Warehouse Exclusive — The OB-Standard+ has all the features of the Gold Tone OB-Standard but with an upgraded JLS tone ring, the most vintage-sounding flathead ring available. Free US shipping.
What Makes the OB-Standard+ Special
The double-cut headstock and Hearts-and-Flowers inlay pattern pay respect to Earl Scruggs, who played this style of banjo for many years. This classic nickel-plated Mastertone flathead banjo features:
- Maple neck and rim
- Creme ABS binding
- Vintage Brown finish
- Premium hardware
- Dotson bridge
- Upgraded JLS tone ring (Banjo Warehouse exclusive)
The JLS Tone Ring Difference
The JLS Tone Ring is hand sand-cast in the USA and features a more rounded head-bearing top edge, which increases contact with the head. The result: a smoother, fuller low-end response with authentic vintage tone.
