Left-Handed Deering Artisan Goodtime Two 5-String Banjo, Made in USA
The left-handed Deering Artisan Goodtime Two is a 5-string resonator banjo built left-handed from the ground up, with a 3-ply violin grade maple rim, a dark red mahogany stain and planetary tuners, handcrafted in Spring Valley, California. This is not a right-handed banjo strung backwards. Deering builds the neck, the nut and the 5th string for a left-handed player, at the same price as the standard model. In stock now at Banjo Warehouse, an authorized Deering dealer in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
A note on the photographs: the images shown are of the right-handed Artisan Goodtime Two. Deering photographs the line in right-handed form. The instrument you receive is built left-handed.
Every Deering we sell receives a professional setup by our banjo tech Tara before shipping. Your banjo arrives ready to play. Free shipping anywhere in the US. 7-day money-back guarantee.

Why the Artisan Goodtime Two?
The Goodtime Two is Deering’s American-made resonator banjo for players who want bluegrass volume without bluegrass weight. The Artisan version keeps that design and changes what you see and what you tune with.
The neck and resonator carry a dark red mahogany stain with white detailing, the fingerboard is Midnight Maple with vintage Artisan style inlays, and Goodtime planetary tuners replace the standard geared tuners for smoother, finer tuning.
Right-handed? The standard Artisan Goodtime Two is the same banjo at the same price, and we stock that too.
The Pot
3-ply violin grade maple rim, 11 inches across, with an 11 inch frosted high crown head. Beveled steel tension hoop with 16 flat J-hooks and 9/32 inch nuts. Two piece flange, Goodtime armrest, 5/8 inch Goodtime Smile bridge and Deering’s patented Goodtime tailpiece. Nickel plated hardware and a hand finished satin polyurethane finish.
In short: the left-handed Artisan Goodtime Two is an American-made resonator banjo at about 6.5 lbs, built left-handed, with planetary tuners and a vintage look.
