The Recording King RR-50-VS conjures the golden era of American roots music, when the resonator was the loudest acoustic instrument a working guitarist could get their hands on. Built the traditional way from mahogany throughout, with a parallelogram soundwell and 12-fret neck joint, its hand-spun Recording King aluminum cone delivers true, loud resonator tone with excellent volume and projection.
The roundneck profile makes it the versatile choice for any playing position, from blues slide to fingerstyle. An ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl dot markers, Grover tuners, a bell brass tailpiece and spider bridge with ebony/maple saddle round out a build finished in a classic vintage sunburst.
