It comes set up for GDAE tuning, the standard for Irish trad and session playing, on a comfortable 22 and 3/4 inch scale with your choice of a 19-fret or 17-fret neck. The snappy, plunky voice cuts cleanly in a session without overpowering the room.
The heart of the AC line is its composite rim, which is durable, weather-friendly, and remarkably light. At 3.5 pounds the AC-4 IT is genuinely travel-ready, and the slim Nato neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a ZeroGlide nut makes fretting easy and tuning stable.
