The Recording King RK-R20 Songster Resonator Banjo is built in the same workshops as the top-line Madison and Elite banjos, punching well above its class in both sound and style. A mahogany resonator and neck combine with a rolled brass tone ring and gloss finish for true banjo tone and vintage bluegrass authenticity.
The hex-stamped flange is a nod to Recording King’s storied history, while the tailpiece, armrest, head brackets and tuning pegs are shared with the pricier R35 and R36, so the playing feel stays familiar for anyone moving up the line later.
