The Recording King RM-993 Swamp Dog Parlor shrinks the beloved Swamp Dog platform into a smaller, lighter, more portable body without giving up volume or projection. The same custom 9.5″ hand-spun cone used in the full-size Swamp Dog sits inside the parlor-size bell brass body, and the shorter 24-1/4″ scale gives it a punchier, more focused voice with extra treble shimmer and top-end clarity.
A mahogany neck with a vintage V profile, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and a hard maple biscuit bridge with ebony and maple saddle keep it comfortable and immediately playable. It’s particularly responsive to slide or fingerpicking, and a great option for players who find full-size resonators unwieldy.
