This is a Fender Artist 5 string Banjo with a nice hardshell case. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a mahogany banjo with Gold Hardware. The neck is also mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. There is attractive inlay going up the fretboard and white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The banjo is all original. The tuners are gold and the tailpiece is a gold clam shell tailpiece. There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets. This is a fantastic banjo for the money and includes a nice hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is absolutely in great shape. A small amount of gold has worn off, really the gold on the flange and tension hoop looks like it has thinned a bit. Other than that all the gold looks really good and the flange and tension hoop do look great also. The finish all looks good and the neck is set up correctly. There is no damage anywhere. The frets and fretboard are clean and it’s obvious this wasn’t played that much. This is in great shape and fully functional with a clean hardshell case.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the shop. This has comfortable string height that still produces some fantastic tone. The banjo has a new Huber frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial. This has proper intonation. The banjo has a Gary Sosebee bridge with an ebony cap. This is a very attractive professional quality banjo that plays and sounds incredible.
